150 years of Bollettino publications now available online!

After 155 years since its foundation, all the issues of the Bollettino della Società Geografica Italiana published from 1868 to the present have been made available online without interruption.

The project covers a range of 14 Series, 155 Volumes and 4.723 Articles, which are now available to the scientific community and all citizens in open access.

Thanks to the cataloguing and digitisation of the papers, an impressive heritage of scientific research covering a wide range of topics and geographical fields is now available on online, providing an overview of the history of geography - of Italian culture - over the last 150 years.

The digitisation process now enables full-text searches on the content of the articles and the associated metadata makes it possible to quickly identify themes, authors, places.

You can browse the archive here.
