Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate, using a geo-literary approach, some of the fundamental concepts regarding city-island identity, starting with specific constitutive ideas of a literary work. Moreover, this essay is a contribution to the area of study regarding regional literature and the roman de terroir: a unique feature of French literature.
