Abstract

The Achziv Valley is located near the Lebanon-scale in the heart of Western Galilee of Israel. The main interest of this green and rocky area lies most in architectural events that cover it throughout its length and accompany it from the spring to the sea. These are buildings of different historical periods, from the Romans to the time of the great medieval fortified implementation linked to the activity of the crusaders. Starting from the Port of Casal Lambert, following its banks, you will find the many mills structures to the imposing Montfort castle. Reading this landscape by designing the relationship between territory and its exploitation, between territorial vocation and its architectural organization, it can describe us now forgotten methodologies to form a landscape. Cross-structures are part of the great history of Hermann von Salsa, Federico II of Svevia and Gregorio IX, and therefore the trip is twofold, the territorial structure retains its historical memory and returns it to our contemporaneity but it does made just a park.
